As you may have noticed, there is an extra week this month in which you get to work with your explorer on learning all about the biomes and ecosystems of the world. Take time to review what you have explored, but make this week all about discovering biomes and ecosystems in your own backyard. Plan a couple small "field trips" to a park or a open field to discover the ecosystems that are within those areas. Be sure to bring your child's field guide so that they may make observations while they are exploring. You could even plan a grander trip to your local science museum if you have the time. A week full of exploration will be the perfect way to end this amazing thematic unit! Have a wonderful week!
